Are you looking to go diving in Dorset?
Bournemouth and Poole Dive Club is one of the oldest Dive Clubs in the county. We have just celebrated our 60th Birthday.
The club owns and operates a 7.25 m Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB), fitted with a 230 horsepower diesel inboard engine. It is powered by a 230HP Mercruiser inboard diesel engine with a 200 litre fuel tank for extended cruising. It has safety equipment including flares, a 12L O2 cylinder with two valves and first aid kit.
It is equipped with VHF (DSC) radio, side scanning sonar and GPS (containing all our dive sites).
This provides a combination of seaworthiness, speed, reliability and economy, which is unmatched by any other club owned boat in the area. The RIB's is based at Parkstone Bay Marina on a pontoon for hassle free diving.
The club dives every Saturday and Sunday from April untill November and Thursday evenings throughout the summer. Saturday morning dives are normally back by lunchtime and Sunday is tide dependant as its mainly wreck diving. We also have regular trips to West Bay, Kimmeridge and Bovisand.
